Event Description
This is a RSVP and no fee will be charged to you. The contribution have to be paid at Allyn Scott Youth and Community Center. To open the workshop we will need a minimum of 10 participants registered.
Capoeira Angola is an Afro-Brazilian tradition that combines martial arts, dance, music and oral tradition into a dynamic art focused on liberating people and building community.
The traditions of Capoeira Angola provide a creative opportunity to assist in the building of respect, self-esteem and identity.
Capoeira helps to develop:
PROGRAM
- Movements- Sequences
- Music
- Songs
- Games
- And Capoeira history
DRESS CODE
- White or yellow T-shirts tucked in- Black pants (comfortable)
- Flat sole shoes. (comfortable)
- Skull cap (optional)
No barefoot, shorts, half pants or sleeveless shirts
